Dear Families,
Every week we review the COVID-19 status of our communities. As of last week, we had three positive cases from our staff at Life Learning Center, Camp Washington, and Ted Berry. As a result, we will be effectively closing on Thursday, November 19, 2020 and re-opening on January 20, 2021. Our number one priority is to keep our families and staff safe and to do our very best to minimize the risk of spreading COVID-19 within our communities. Other factors that played into our decision included the increase of the COVID-19 cases in Hamilton County, the holiday schedule, and staff training that is taking place in early January.
We know this has been difficult for many families. We encourage you to take advantage of our services and programming offered at this time such as:
- Timeout Tuesday
- Ready Rosie Parenting Curriculum
- Meal Pick-Up
- Virtual learning boxes
- Speech and Language Screening
- Policy Council Book Club
We will continue to expand and enhance these offerings as they are developed.
Please contact your center locations for dates on meal pick-ups and learning boxes or check our web page for additional offerings specific to your child’s age and location.
Again, let me thank you for your support and understanding as we, as a community and a nation, have responded to the sweeping impact of COVID-19 since March. Please stay safe and Happy Thanksgiving.
Sincerely,
Renee Y. Daniel
